During the spring of 2020, we as a wholesale business of 60 years were striving to achieve happy business goals, ensuring our supply chain was delivering and in turn that we were servicing our wholesale confectionary, soft drinks and grocery customers.
Then everything changed very fast – a pandemic arrives from afar and life changes drastically for most of us. Fear and panic grew by day and supply chains started to slow up. Pasta and toilet roll, the two words most often spoken!
For people stranded and in lockdown, those who were shielding or isolating, the only way to get product to them was by courier direct or door to door delivery. At the time we didn’t have the facility to do either – but we learned fast – we learned to PIVOT and now we do have the facility and the knowhow to service our new retail customers direct to their door.
